Release notes

Version 4.9.3

Added

  • Job notifications for the whole team: Admins can grant the new Job notifications permission to any project member so they get pushed when a job finishes, fails, or is aborted. Previously only the user running Silverstack (or the API token creator) received them; now anyone you authorize does.
  • Notifications in Settings: A new Notifications section in your account settings lets you turn job pushes on or off across all your projects without losing the permission itself.

Version 4.9.2

Added

  • Bulk invite users: A new Import from spreadsheet action lets you invite a whole crew at once. Download a styled template that matches your project’s addons, share it with production, then upload the filled file for a per-row preview before sending invites. Re-importing the same sheet updates permissions silently and never re-mails existing members.
  • Invite delivery status: Each user now shows a small badge next to their email reflecting the latest Postmark event (delivered, opened, bounced, marked as spam, suppressed, or failed to send). Tap a failed invite to see the full timeline and resend.

Version 4.9.1

Added

  • Audio replacement: Replace a clip’s audio track without re-uploading video. Drop a stereo AAC .m4a into the project’s _audio/ folder (or upload via API) and the clip is remuxed automatically.
  • Player: Clip titles now show tappable scene and date chips. Tap the scene to jump to its bin, or tap the date to jump to the date bin.

Version 4.8.31

Improved

  • Mountain Mode: Graded proxies are now playable on the paired iPad.
  • Mountain Mode: Date bins are now available when working offline.
  • Mountain Mode: New clips arriving in the watch folder are picked up automatically during a session.

Version 4.8.30

Added

  • Mountain Mode (beta): Pair an iPad to your macOS DIT machine via QR code and stream proxies over your local network without an internet connection.

Version 4.8.29

Added

  • macOS: Open the app log file directly from the menu (“Open Log File”) when you need to troubleshoot or share logs.

Changed

  • macOS: Clearer feedback when checking for app updates from the auto-updater.
  • Search: Bin search stays visible and anchored to the top-right for easier access while browsing.

Fixed

  • Player: Directional skip works more reliably when a clip has no speech blocks.
  • Player: Toggling log mode no longer disrupts playback position.
  • Bins: Comments layout and the mobile comments panel behave more reliably.
